Terms of Service for Gluco Book

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Gluco Book mobile application. By using Gluco Book, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Gluco Book

Gluco Book is a diabetes sugar reading note-taking app that allows users to record glucose readings, view reading history, track medicine intake, record walking and medicine status, view averages and graphs, and generate PDF reports.

Important Medical Disclaimer: Gluco Book is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support. The app is only for personal record keeping and reporting. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

2. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Entering accurate information into the app.
Reviewing your readings and reports carefully.
Consulting your doctor before making any medical decisions.
Keeping your login credentials secure.
Using the app in a lawful and responsible manner.

3. No Medical Advice

Gluco Book does not provide professional medical advice. Any readings, averages, graphs, reports, or statistics shown in the app are based on the information you enter. These features are provided only to help you organize and view your own records.

Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking medical help because of information shown in the app. In case of emergency, contact your doctor, hospital, or local emergency services immediately.

4. Account

Some features may require account creation using Firebase Authentication. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. User Data

You retain responsibility for the health and personal information you enter into Gluco Book. The app stores your data using Firebase services so that you can access your readings and reports. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected.

6. PDF Reports

Gluco Book may allow you to generate PDF reports from your readings. These reports are for personal use and may be shared by you with your doctor or caregiver. You are responsible for deciding when and with whom to share exported reports.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for illegal or harmful purposes.
Attempt to access another user's account or data.
Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the app.
Use the app as a substitute for professional medical care.
Enter false, harmful, or misleading information for misuse of the service.

8. App Availability

We aim to keep Gluco Book available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. Features may be changed, updated, suspended, or removed at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raheel Khan will not be responsible for any loss, damage, health-related issue, incorrect decision, data loss, or other consequence resulting from your use of Gluco Book.

You understand that the app is a record-keeping tool and not a replacement for professional medical judgment.

10. Third-Party Services

Gluco Book uses third-party services such as Firebase, provided by Google. These services may process data as necessary for app functionality. Your use of the app may also be subject to applicable third-party service terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the app if we believe there is misuse, abuse, policy violation, security risk, or unlawful activity.
